YAMP - an advanced music player for Windows Phone

YAMP is not just a new interface to standard music library functions. The audio processing pipeline was reimplemented from scratch -- which allowed us to implement low-level functionality like the gapless playback and the various audio effects.

YAMP is an update to FLAC Player SD app, which is still available for compatibility with WP 8.0 phones. YAMP requires WP8.1 or newer.
If you are upgrading from the FLAC Player, these are the key differences:
- no longer restricted to SD capable devices, WP8.1 apps can access phone's internal storage
- mp3 files do not need to be renamed anymore (which was again a WP8.0 restriction)
- more audio effects
- music library searchable by metadata tags
- an ad-free premium option available
