More About Shot Timer

Updates in v1.5:
-Fixed problem in computing rate of fire
-Added Avg. Split Time to Statistics page
-Added basic scoring capability (must purchase Add On Pack #1 which also includes the ability to save data)
-Note: If you already purchased the ability to save data you will get the basic scoring capability for free!

Don't waste your money on dedicated hardware for timing shooting drills. You've got a Windows Phone with a microphone, speakers, more processing power, and a great display which can take your shooting to the next level.

Use this app to see how consistent your shooting is, how quickly you reload, how many shots per minute you can reliably perform, and more! Once you're done shooting you can perform shot analysis over and over again using different shot cutoffs. You can even exclude specific shots if they weren't really shots, but other loud noises. This lets you clean up your data and get a clear view of your performance.

If you like the app and it's capabilities you can unlock additional capabilities to save your data to your phone including the ability to go back later and edit your shot string. You can also add the ability to perform basic scoring of shots and get statistics such as total score, avg. score per shot, and points per second.

Settings you can alter include random start time (using interval) or static delay, the frequency to sample the microphone with, and the shot detection cutoff level as a percentage of volume measured by the microphone.

Future enhancements will be coming to include:

- GPS tagging of the shot string
- Add picture of the target associated with a shot string
- Track reload sounds separately from shot sounds and get associated data
- Store data in easier to access hierarchies, associations, etc.
- Use templates for shooting allowing you to run the same drills over and over to compare improvements
