The 2017 Championship is all about change. New regulations allow for wider geometry, bodywork to increase downforce and more engine power. Each team has a brand-new car for the season. While Volkswagen, winners for the last four years have pulled out, Toyota is back with their new Yaris WRC.
Without a team for 2017, Sébastien Ogier has moved to M-Sport and Jari-Matti Latvala to Toyota. Sadly Andreas Mikkelsen has not secured a drive, and will sit the season out.
The round line-up follows 2016 but with Rallye de France brought forward to Spring instead of Autumn.
