The map component of your phone would be great, if only you didn't need an expensive data connection to download the maps.
This free app will download the maps when you first run the app with a data connection. The maps then stay on your phone and you can plot your course while at sea. We suggest using a WI-FI connection the first time you start this app.
It will even keep track of your journey and provide an estimated total distance for you. And to top it all off, you can even email yourself the trail of waypoints.
Currently configured to download maps for the Eastern Seaboard, Gulf of Mexico, and Eastern Caribbean.
We've now included an option to download a map of most of the world. Check your position from the Pacific, Alaska, and Trans-Atlantic and European cruises.
