The application allows you to store the details and the GPS position of WiFi networks you connect to.
If you ever need to reset your phone or change your device, you can install the application on your new device, restore the data from your online SkyDrive backup and have all those details available to you again.
Then once you are within range of a known network, fire up the application, which will detect your position and present you with the appropriate SSID and password.
