What if 20 colors are not enough?
What if you could choose any color for your live tiles?

Any Tile Color makes any tile color possible by creating a colored image with the size of your Windows Phone screen that can be used as background picture.

It is important to understand that this app cannot change system defined colors. Due to restrictions enforced by Microsoft, this is impossible. Any Tile Color utilizes the new Windows Phone 8.1 Feature called "Background Picture" thus creating the look and feel of tiles showing up in any color you want.

If you can think about possible additional features, please let me know. I was thinking about localizing the app first of all, adding a text to the unused part of the image containing the hex code (for easy recognizing the images later on) and creating a list of favourite colors for fast access.

Hint: This is great for corporate colors as well! Although Any Tile Color does not support Pantone, you can easily enter hex numbers like #002B7F.
