Lockscreen Calendar shows
- The next upcoming appointments with many details (duratino, status, location, ...)
- The charge of your phone battery and how long i will last (in days and hours)
- A 5-day weather forecast for your current location
- A background image from Bing (that changes every day) or a background image from your phone

LockScreen Calendar automatically updates the information on your phone lock screen about every 1/2 hour by using a windows phone background task agent to stay up to date.
