Ever had problems when entering an address for navigation ? Want to easily manage and store the locations of your friends, business meetings, or favorite fishing spots? Store your current position in a couple of seconds? Prepare your next foreign trip by car? EasyWaypoint is for you!

EasyWaypoint can manage any locations on Earth as waypoints (POI), and display them on its integrated map. Waypoints include a name and an optional description. They can be entered in many ways: using the current location (with date and time automatically attached), selecting and holding a point on the map, entering an address or GPS coordinates, reading a KML file, etc.

A very useful feature of EasyWaypoint is its sequential address entering method: enter the city name, enter street or district name, and finally the number. At each step, as soon as you have entered a few characters, a choice list is proposed. By this way you save a lot of keyboard inputs, and overall you can avoid location mistakes!!! (e.g. in case of ambiguous street names).

Current waypoints and map parameters (center, zoom level, view mode) are automatically stored and restored when leaving and relaunching the app.

From a given waypoint, you can then easily launch your favorite navigation app: HERE Drive/ HERE Maps, GPS voice, etc., depending on what you have installed. You can also compute the route from one waypoint to another (for instance if you want to quickly know the walking time from the hotel to the meeting on your next business trip, or organize the route points for your next holidays travel).

Many functions are accessible through context menu, i.e. by holding a point on the map (main page) or a list item (Waypoint page).

Waypoint lists can be stored and organized as KML files in the application isolated storage. These KML files (GoogleEarth format) can then be exported in various ways (backup operation to public phone storage or SD card, file picking from OneDrive…) and imported as well. By this way you can easily archive, visualize, manage them or even create new waypoints on your PC computer.

EasyWaypoint can also open GPX files, and display the included tracks or routes.

The app is available in two versions: EasyWaypointLite (free version) and EasyWaypoint (full version).

PRIVACY POLICY
This application can use phone location to show your current position on map. You can create a waypoint with it, and store and export it at your convenience. No other usage of your current position is made. However, you can disable phone location at any time in the application settings.
