What's New

Thanks again for all your feedback! This build fixes a bug where users would receive multiple daily push notifications; users will no longer receive notifications of the daily puzzle. Each daily puzzle is available the evening before it appears in the newspaper. On weekdays, the puzzle is available at 10 p.m. Eastern time. On weekends (Saturday and Sunday, for Sunday and Monday’s puzzles), the puzzle is available at 6 p.m. Eastern time.

Fun fact: WINDOWS has never appeared as an answer in The New York Times Crossword during the Will Shortz Era, but has appeared in 119 clues. The latest clue was “Composer of the Windows 95 start-up sound.” The answer? ENO for Brian Eno.
