“TMDb Explorer” is a browser for the contents of “The Movie Database” (themoviedb.org). TMDb is a free and community maintained movie database and it is used by millions of people every month.“TMDb Explorer” has five main sections:- “In Theatres” shows you a managed list of the movies currently in theatres;- “Upcoming” offers a list of movies that will be released in the near future;- “Most Popular” lets you retrieve the daily movie popularity list;- “Top Rated” gives you the top rated movies of the community;- “On Screen” presents a quick link to the above sections and let the user to browse the contents by genre and to search by keyword.Every movie has a detail page in which there will be various types of information like the synopsis, a quality rating (based on a five stars rating system), the year of production, the genres in which the movie can be categorized and the list of production companies.The user can also choose to:- play the trailer (both in app or using YouTube),- go to the official website of the movie,- search for similar contents,- see the cast.
